Mike is Nova Equity Partners' experienced investor and supports founders by helping them understand macro market trends and harness the power of their companies' data.
Mike also serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of an investment management firm named CPTR. At CPTR, which he founded in 1992, he has managed a separate account for Renaissance Technologies Corporation (2002-2004) as well as numerous Limited Partnerships. At inception of CPTR, he managed a quantitative driven long/short strategy for Mr. George Soros of Soros Fund Management, Inc. Mike was one of the original four managers hired to manage money for the Soros Fund Management’s Quota Fund; (Crispin Odey was also one of the original four). He has obtained his Series 3, 4, 7 and 63 Securities licenses and is registered as a Commodity Pool Operator (CPO) and a Commodity Pool Advisor (CTA).

Jack has nearly 40 years of experience building and managing companies across many industries including consumer, healthcare, industrial, human capital, and other markets. In these roles, the most recent of which he served as C.O.O., Jack built sales teams, took products / services to market, managed operations execution, and executed 20%+ revenue growth strategies for each business. These roles spanned companies at all stages of the lifecycle from start-ups supported by venture capital, early- to mid-stage companies receiving growth equity, mature businesses post-buyout from private equity firms, as well as publicly traded entities in both the U.S. and internationally.
