Nova Equity Partners' funding is drawn from several families seeking to make direct investments in private companies, avoiding the costly fees associated with outsourcing this strategy to traditional private equity firms. With a family office structure, Nova Equity Partners' capital is not beholden to any capital deployment or return timelines like traditional private equity firms and, as a result, allows the firm to focus on long-term growth strategies versus the typical "quick flip" private equity mentality.

The unique experience of having invested in and operated businesses gives the firm a unique tool set to provide tangible support to the companies it invests in.

Nova Equity Partners' first initiative post-close is to invest in our companies' people, systems, and processes. This business-building ensures there is infrastructure in place to support accelerated growth. These investments include (but not limited to):

  • Implementing ERP systems

  • Building out management teams

  • Automating KPI / data tracking

  • Expanding facilities 

  • Updating equipment 

Once necessary infrastructure investments are in place, we turn to a proven playbook of organic growth levers. Executing on multiple levers at once allows our companies to achieve goals in more ways than one. These include (but not limited to):

  • Augmenting digital
    marketing strategy

  • Adding service lines 

  • Opening new locations

  • Employee sales training

To further accelerate growth, we also actively pursue add-on acquisitions. Acquiring and integrating add-on acquisitions helps achieve growth targets quicker. We lead all aspects of the M&A transaction process including:

  • Evaluating 

  • Structuring 

  • Closing
